I was visiting the beautiful Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Research, and stopped at Lefty's (inside the museum) for a quick lunch. What a pleasant surprise! They have wonderful sandwiches, salads, and deli selections. I got the Brie and caramelized onions on baguette, yummm!!!!
It's a convenient spot whether you're walking in the Pearl or visiting the gorgeous museum. -

This is a small cafe and the food is pre-made however it is delicious. I had to sample a variety. The tuna salad served as a salad was great. There was a great variety of micro greens, very flavorful. I split an eggplant ciabatta with my friend. This was delicious. The eggplant was perfectly cooked. Also, I took home Ruglach and a Jewish version of biscotti. This biscotti is better than most Italian biscotti because it is soft with cinnamon sugar. The perfect ending.

This is such a hidden gem! Great soup of the day, fresh sandwich or salad, clean & bright space. Plus Dr. Browns sodas to boot! I would hate for it to get overrun, but people should give this awesome place more business!

This recently opened cafe is located inside the new Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education. It's a treat having access to a cafe right within the museum which I was able to access without paying admission to the museum. This was my first visit and I wasn't able to try everything. The menu is simple Jewish sandwiches, salads and pastries. The egg salad I had was delicious and served on a really good rye bread which I found out was from Fluer de Lis Bakery, one of my favorite Portland bakeries. (See my list - "A day in Hollywood, Portland that is") I washed this down with a chocolate egg cream which was a good pairing with the sandwich and I also had a piece of very authentically made rugelach. The tuna salad also looked good which I'm planning on trying next time.
